Travel Republic attempted to charge a 125 pound increase in flight cost the day after booking yet when I decided to book the flights direct with RyanAir, they were less! Also beware of car hire quotes. I ended up paying for a full tank of fuel which I didnt need, and insurance that wasnt included in the price...or face 600euro deposit being taken from my card. Not as good as it first looks!
2 of 3 orders placed in two weeks failed! First one...I received an email after waiting nearly an hour to say the restaurant was closed. Second one...I phoned the restaurant ten minutes after ordering to check they had received the order. They hadnt! I dealt directly with the restaurant in the end and will be from now on. Both the restaurant and I feel takeaway.com are a disgrace. The member of staff I spoke to was vaguely apologetic I suppose. Good luck competing with <external links removed>! You'll need it with customer service like yours.
