We'll what can i say about this very sorry episode.
I moved in to the Chelmsford office 2 years ago and all was good until the point of leaving.
As per the contract i sent emails to members of the Regus staff to cancel my contract more than 3 months prior to end of contract. Before i left i was assured all was in order and we parted amicably.
Then 3 months later i noticed that Regus were taking money from my business account for more than i was originally paying. It was suggested that the contract automatically renewed and i was now in another 12 months contract.
I complained and sent my emails of cancellation to Regus Chelmsford and they agreed i shouldn't have been automatically put on to a new contract.
I kept on asking for a refund and the return of my deposit but nothing materialised.
Many months after leaving and after many emails promising this will be resolved with £1000's of pounds illegally taken from my account i asked the bank to refund me the Direct Debit amounts totaling what was owed to me.
2 months later, i received a call from a very rude gentleman who claimed to be working on behalf of Regus and that i owe them £1000's of pounds for breach of contract. He wouldn't allow me to explain the situation and explained that the FD had asked him to collect the money and time for talking was over. I refused to be spoken to like an idiot by someone that clearly shouldn't be in that job.
This saga continues.
My advice is to not sign up to Regus as the after service is diabolical and they treat you with utter contempt!
And how sad i'm resorted to complaining on-line. Sad day for Regus especially as we also have a number of offices in the States. Well, at the moment we do!
