After waiting in for 8 hours in accordance to the tracking number advising that the parcel was 'out for delivery' it changes at 7:30pm to 'Time constraints prevented delivery, delivery at earliest opportunity.' Having seen this message before from other companies, I expected my parcel before 10am the following morning. By 1pm there is still no sign of it, so I contacted TNT who were delivering on Interparcel's behalf. They advised that I had to contact Interparcel as it was their contract. Fair enough. So, unable to call them as I don't have a landline, I used their useful 'Live Help Messenger' feature. What an absolute waste of time, the person I spoke to repeated a variance of 'It is out for delivery and will be with you by 5:30pm' every time I asked a question. After I asked why the company deemed it acceptable that I should have to wait in for another day due to their incompetence, she said 'I have told you it's coming by 5:30 today what else do you want me to do?' and disconnected from the conversation. This is a shocking way to treat a customer, I hope never to have to deal with Interparcel again, and would recommend others to steer clear as well.
