Ordered from special online clearance sale.
After ordering, got a call to say there was an incorrect price so they cancelled order. Against distance selling regulations. Have sent information to Trading Standards.
What kind of business are they running when you cannot receive what you order!

Hi Michael,

To clarify, you had ordered the goods at the same exact time that our web team was changing the prices on the web to our special sale prices. Due to the coincidence that you happened to place the order at the time the prices were changing over, there was a technical error in which the goods you ordered basically had no cost associated to them. That was not the sale price of the items, merely a technical fault as the website was adjusting to the new prices. We, of course, couldn't process the order as there was no price associated with the products that were ordered and essentially the invoice was only for delivery. The order would have been processed and completed when the goods were paid for at their sale price. However, you chose to have the entire order cancelled as you believed it was necessary to only pay for delivery. Unfortunately, technical glitches happen against anyone's control; but, it's important to understand that in order to rectify the error we needed to inform you that the sale price wasn't zero pounds and the items were on sale for a different price.
