My school teacher said, must do better

A few years ago, ordering on-line meant a wait for 7, 14 or 21 days for delivery, that was OK then, but not now. When I place an order with a company, they (you) have instant access to my money and most companies respond by delivering either the next day or three days max. You take six, seven days - not acceptable. By keeping me waiting that length of time I am stuck in doors awaiting your delivery, not knowing when your going to arrive - not acceptable. You need to 'UP YOUR GAME' and deliver with a bit more haste, or you will find your customers (me) will have to go else where.

Thanks very much for taking the time to leave us some feedback, and I'm very sorry that you experienced an unacceptable extended delivery period.

Upon investigation I can see that, due to an internal processing error, your order missed its original despatch date - and it wasn't until you proactively contacted us that the issue was resolved.

Such circumstances are extremely rare, but I have to agree with your "must do better" adage on this occasion.

We do rely on feedback from our customers to ensure we are achieving our aim of total satisfaction, and I'm very disappointed that we haven't done so in this case.

As discussed, I very much hope you allow us the opportunity to redeem ourselves should you have any further material requirements in the future.
