im disapointed in the delivery, it was left at my doorway and garden!

I ordered a new bathroom and it is beautiful and the furnishings from victorian plumbing are lovely, as this company is in liverpool and i live in scotland was not a problem as it would get delivered, but nooooo the delivery arrived and i was expecting my new bathroom to enter my house, but nooooo it was left at my doorway, at this point i could not get out my house as the doorway was blocked, i couldnt close my door, and because the doorway was blocked and i was having to climb over boxes to exit my house the driver then left the other boxes in my garden, and as if that was not bad enough it was pouring with rain and we had gail force winds so the boxes were disintegrating in front of me, the driver left saying for insurance reasons they dont enter houses now! if i had known this i would have just went local for my furnishings and bought them when I COULD HAVE PICKED THEM UP MYSELF! When i phoned emailed victoria plumbing asap to say what had happened as i have over the years had numerous things ordered and never left at my door, was told it says pallet deliveries get left, REALLY! I NEVER SAW THAT! The delivery driver calls to arrange a date for delivery then delivery driver calls to says he is on his way, could no one just double check with the customer that they know their expensive new exciting furnishings are getting DUMPED ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY! at the end of the day this is my wee home they are delivering too NOT A BUILDING SITE! needless to say i was EXTREMELY DISTRESSED as i now had to try move stuff myself, in order to get my door closed, as securitywas now breeched to my house with my door lying open and my goods lying in my garden for anyone to help themselves, i phoned my husband at work crying as he would not be home till five and it was just 12 midday, he was raging and i was upset but does anyone care nooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your comments. I am very sorry to hear you are upset with the delivery of your order. It is correct that the courier driver delivers to the outside of the property. The couriers are not insured to take any goods inside the property. This information is advised at the checkout point, I apologise if this was not clear. I will pass this on to be made more noticeable for future customers. We are currently in search of a courier that will offer the service of taking the good into the property, this is proving quite difficult to find at the moment as no couriers will insure. We are continuing this search as it would be a very useful service to offer. I apologise that this information was missed at the checkout point, and for the inconvenience this caused.
