Ordered goods and paid for next day delivery (Friday), even though someone was in a card was left stating delivery couldn't be made, it had a date - no time filled in and the parcel reference number was also incorrect. On the back it had been ticked for another attempted delivery the next day (Saturday). On Saturday I did an online track to see if there was any indication on time of delivery - the system showed parcel as problem and returned to local depot - no indication of being out for delivery again. The online system and phones send you round in circles telling you the website is the best place to check. By midday I had found another number and spoke to customer services - person wasn't really that interested and had to search by postcode as ref number was wrong - after a lengthy wait informed me that they don't deliver on Saturday and it would no be Monday, tried to get through to local depot to check - but couldn't get through and made no more effort. I asked for number and location of local depot so i could fetch myself. I was given an incorrect number so just drover the 12 miles to fetch the parcel. The lady at the depot told me they did deliver Saturday for certain items, but strangely at 12:45 my parcel was still there !
They really need to sort out systems functionality, staff knowledge and attitudes.
