Over the past week, I have ordered two separate lots of items from Boots.com. On both occasions I paid for next day delivery. The first parcel arrived on the correct day but even though I had asked for the parcel to be delivered to a neighbour's house, it was thrown over a six-foot side gate. Thankfully, all the items were intact. When I checked the DPD website, it informed me that the parcel had been signed for by SIDE GATE (I didn't realise that it could even write its own name let alone produce a signature!). The second item was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but still hasn't arrived. I have emailed DPD twice in the past 24 hours but am still awaiting a response.. Personally, I think I stand more chance of winning the lottery tonight than receiving an explanation from DPD.
