I didn't know where else to get help or advice. A plumber I called out suggested a new shower, but when I searched myself, shower doc had a suggested fix and some simple diagnostics to confirm it. I completed these, ordered the parts (which arrived next day), and then fitted them....voila....I now have the shower working once again for less than the cost of a plumber call out charge. I'll always check here first in future. Thanks Shower Doc
