I ordered a camera battery via a company on Amazon marketplace. Allegedly City link attempted to deliver the package on 4 different dates, then city link where also given my mobile number to aid delivery, I stayed in all day, no delivery, they then claimed to have attempted delivery at 9:10, mmm I was outside washing my car between 8:00-10:00am, no city link van and no delivery.
In future I will avoid any supplier that uses City link and cannot offer an alternative.

Overall KLM do OK, in my opinion better than BA. But that said, their standards are slipping, as is the food they serve on their flights.
I mainly travel in business class, but due to late bookings etc sometimes I end up in economy class, the seats in both classes are exactly the same, the only difference is the legroom. The food is different in both classes, but equally as bad. So aprt from legroom what do you get for the 300-400% price premium....a little ceramic house, a small case with eye shades and travel socks (I have not bothered with them for has long as I can remember, I must have about 50 already), a small video screen to watch and access to better service and drinks.
Business class needs to improve, fares have dropped, but the lower business class fare no longer allows free changes, these cost £150 each.
I always use their reserve and collect facility if the price is already competative, the guys in my local stores (Wakefield and Huddersfield) are very knowledgable.
If I want something that is cheaper elsewhere Jessops will do their best to match it if not beat it.
Just back from a recent holiday with Thomsons (same group), the holiday was excellent, but there flights are terrible, very little leg room ( I fly about 50 times a year with my job so I can compare with KLM and BA flights), the seat was uncomfortable, the seat base was warn well below replacement levels. But worst of all, they even charge you for a drink of water.
One other matter is excursions, the rep advised us that public transport was not possible to visit Pompei/vesuvius from our resort and the charged us 78 euros for 2 people for transport only, I found out 2 days later we could have done the trip via public transpot and a free transfer between pompei and vesuvius for 32 euros for 2 adults and the journey would have only been 30 mins longer, this would have also allowed us to say in Pompei longer than the 2.5 hours we got with a guide that did not have a clue and made things up that contridicted the guide book purchased.
I purchased a Acer laptop with a £100 cash back offer, this I duely filled in a posted(registered) to them in the timeframe as per there terms and conditions. Having heard nothing for 7 weeks I contacted them and the denied recieving my claim, even though I checked the royal mail website 3 days after posting which confirmed delivery the day after posting. I now need to find the reciept from the post office with the tracking number 8 weeks later to prove they recieved it.
