Bass Pedal - Christmas Gift

Product was delivered promptly as was purchased for a last minute christmas gift,
The Bass pedal cost £130.00 online, but when my son unwrapped on christmas morning price ticket on box stated £99.99.I double checked that the item was the correct pedal & Box, barcode etc,,, so not sure if was marked up in price just for Christmas?
Other than this was happy with purchase.
