I went into tæppeland to order a wall to wall carpet. Brought in my measurements and ordered the carpet I wanted.
The carpet was delivered a couple of days later. We stared to put it in and noticed that it was 3 by 5 meters too short! I call the guy that we ordered from and he could see that be messed up the measurement and that he was sorry. He asked if I could come by and pick up the missing part meters for 1050kr more. Well I was not to satisfied over that because now I will have a split in the two carpets that I was trying to avoid in the first place. So I drove down there. Got the carpet. Brought it home and the carpet was the wrong color! Called up to complain. He was sorry but he could not do anything because they were about to close and he would have the right carpet ready for me in the morning.
So carpet back in the car drive all the way to hillerod again. As I enter the door and awaited for an apology the opposite happened. They made me feel like the whole thing was my fault! I asked for a compensation but they could only say sorry and that there was not an option for a discount. I reminded them that I had to drive back and fourth 4 times, plus I had 2 guys on my payroll that costed me 500kr more in waiting time. All they could say was they were sorry and that they will not and could not do anything more!
So now I am stuck with a carpet in two pieces and the wrong color!
Great customer service tæppelort! I will be calling the director tomorrow. Not that I think anything will change. I don't think it's in their work philosophy.:-(
