A wonderful service!
I bought, as a birthday present for my long-suffering & lovely wife, an Arts & Crafts table lamp - a beautiful object in brass with a lovely shade etched with flowers ... somehow, it seemed that the light cast by a modern bulb (to say nothing of a low energy bulb!) did not really do this lovely object justice. I then discovered that it is STILL possible to obtain old-fashioned carbon filament incandescent bulbs of exactly the type that would have been originally fitted circa 1900. Enter the Light Bulb Company, who were able to supply the said object - not cheap, but who ever said that perfection was?? Thank you The LBC!
