Totally unreliable delivery service where passports are concerned!!

Received a letter saying had been unable to complete the delivery of our passport. I arranged delivery for today (4th Feb) between 9am and 5pm. No one came and no one telephoned! I telephoned DX twice to make sure passport would come and I was reassured it would. I'm very very very annoyed and frustrated. Seeing red at present. How the hell am I going to get this bl****y passport?
