Ordered an item online for my son's birthday. Called company to check order went through as got stuck on a page for quite a while. Company confirmed order went through fine. Whilst on the phone I asked about Saturday delivery, as item was for my son's birthday on the Sunday. Company confirmed that Saturday delivery was fine and they would take extra payment from my card. By 3.00 on Saturday the package hadn't arrived. Found Customer Service number, had to leave a message as Customer Service Team only works Monday to Friday. Asked them to call me back, as no delivery. No phone call from Customer Services by 3.00 on Monday - I called them. After a few phone calls I was advised that their payment system had failed to take delivery charge. Apparently the item will be delivered to me on Wednesday. I ordered this item the previous Thursday (late). Ironically, if I hadn't asked for Saturday delivery, for this item to arrive in time for my son's birthday, we would have had the item by Monday! Customer Service staff didn't seem too apologetic when sorting this problem out, they said sorry, reluctantly and didn't sound very sorry, but I'm not bring charged for delivery apparently!
