I needed something done about the "Rogue Cats" which were coming into my house, and not only eating my Cats food, but frightening them, and leaving their territorial mark. I had heard about the "Microchip" flap, but at a cost of around £69.00 I was still prepared to jog along and just lock them in at night. EVENTUALLY ....... I succumbed, and sent for your Cat Flap. Not being a great Internet user, I was surprised at how easy it was to manoeuvre myself around your site, and also how quickly the said item was delivered. TODAY....... it proved its worth, as said "Rogue Cats, tried their best to gain access. My cats, although frightened by the experience, were soon put at ease to find that the "Rotters" had not been able to get in.
It did take up to a week to entice them both in and out of the flap, mainly because after having measured it, I have found it to be at least 1" shorter, and slightly narrower than other flaps I have had. I note in the book (of 12 languages ?) that it is not suitable for "Main Coon Cats. - Luckily I don't have my Persian or Somali, as neither of these cats would have been able to use this flap. The one saving grace was that having had many flaps over the years, my back door looks like it has been pebbled with gunshot, owing to the amount of holes in it to fix the various flaps. This one needed yet another two, but has fitted in perfectly. I did also note that on the "advert" it states the batteries would last up to a year, but in the book it states only up to six months. I shall have to wait and see. Depends on usage. Maybe I shall have to adopt another 30 cats, as I see it will take up to 32 cats.
That should be a tester for you ??
