Generally ok but communication problems with customer & Supplier.

Ordering was very easy and convenient. Very competitive price, much cheaper than any price I was quoted elsewhere. My only issues relate to a communication breakdown as follows

1) I was given the name and telephone number of the company responsible for delivering my oil and a completely different supplier turned up.

2) I specified in my instructions to the supplier on the Boiler Juice site that for security reasons my entrance gate was normally locked, so it was essential that I was given sufficient warning of the delivery date so that I could ensure access to the oil tank on the delivery day. In the event the supplier just turned up and it was a sheer fluke that anyone was at home to take delivery. The driver said that she had not been given my instructions concerning limited access to the site, and had she known I would have received a phone call the day before delivery.

This is the only reason I have given four stars rather than five.


Company was a joy to deal with.

Ordering was very easy. Product arrived very quickly and a one hour time slot on day of delivery meant you didn't have to wait in all day. The front mounting plate of the heater had been bent during transit but this was replaced immediately without question. Overall the company was a joy to deal with, they were easy to contact, polite and friendly. Any problems were dealt with immediately and you were kept informed of the progress of the order by email at every stage. Thank you e-tradecounter.
