Three hours after I submitted my order for Civilization V and the expansion, Gods and Kings, I received the Steam keys in my email. Inputting them in Steam I was thrilled to discover they are legit and work.
I was a little nervous when I purchased them for such a screaming deal, and then read some bad reviews of them elsewhere on the internet. But Play-SC came through for me. The price was awesome (MUCH cheaper than elsewhere), and the keys work. I'm a very happy customer.
For those concerned about the other negative reviews, I suspect there may be some truth to them: namely that utilizing some game keys may require using a VPN for key authentication and/or playing the game. This is the work around that Play-SC has come up with to get around regional restrictions on the sale of games. It's unfortunate that they don't more clearly indicate which games will *require* the VPN usage, but I suspect that that's where the majority of the subpar reviews come from: gamers unhappy about having to use a VPN to authenticate or play.
In my case, my keys authenticated just fine like normal through Steam and I'm off to the races enjoying Civilization V. Thank you, Play-SC.
