After looking around for a complete bathroom suite, I decided to go with Better Bathrooms. BIG MISTAKE!
I attempted to call customer service to chase up the order as it was 3 weeks and I hadn't heard anything regarding delivery. Couldn't get through on the phone so I called the Sales number, which was answered immediately. The person said the taps were out of stock hence the delay. 2 days later I received a text message to say the items were ready to be delivered. I called the delivery company and arranged a date for delivery and took the day off work.
The delivery time given was between 8am and 6pm. I called the delivery company at 2pm and was told it should be with me by 2,30. I called again at 4pm and was told it should be with me between 4.30 and 5pm. I called at 5pm and was told it should be with me any minute as the driver is in the area and I was the last drop off. 6pm came and 6pm went. No delivery!. I called again and was told the driver had ran out of time and had taken the delivery back to the depot. Bearing in mind Better Bathrooms only offer a kerbside delivery, my husband had arranged to be off too.
I attempted to call customer services, but no answer, I called the sales number and spoke to Mark, who just didn't give a monkeys. I told him I was slightly concerned as I had read lots of negative reports about Better Bathrooms and he said, yes it's like it every year. ???? Not very reassuring bearing in mind they have £1200 of my money and I have no goods! He sounded almost proud of the fact . He said he would get a customer service manager to call me. But as yet,no call,
So, beware. Shop around before parting with your money. They are a total shambles! They happily take your money but reluctantly offer any help when things go wrong.
