This item was ordered on 17th January on the basis of Toolstops competitive price. I had not used them previously. I received an e-mail advising the item was despatched on 18th January, anticipated delivery 22nd to 26th January.
So I waited, and waited and waited.
On 26th January, I tracked the item at the carrier's local depot, about 10 miles from my home.

On 30th January I decided to ring the carrier's local depot (because their website stated the item was there) and was advised that they had attempted delivery on 19th January. Had they succeded, this would have been excellent service warranting a 5 star review.
I asked why they hadn't put a card thorugh the letter box and they replied that they had, through the blue door.
I don't have a blue door. In fact I don't know of any houses in my vicinity that do have a blue door. Obviously they had the wrong house, and probably the wrong street.
The good news is that bthe item was delivered the next day.
