OK - So, we had a V123 carpet cleaner, that blew up around Xmas time (3 years into warranty) - was quite worried about claiming on warranty due to others experiences on here, and ended up putting it off til a week or so ago. Advised cusomer care line of the fault (plugged in and threw trip switches in house, and smelt of burning) - and the lady advised to take off the serial number sticker, and attach it to a form she would email, and post it recorded to them. I then had to pay £3.99 for postage, and a week after I posted the serial number to them, I received a V124-a cleaner - so an upgraded model, that is still selling for £60 more than the model I bought a few years ago, All in all, chuffed with the service - I dont usually write reviews - but thought I would in this case, as it was so different to the "norm" - and I could have wished for a better service (other than original cleaner not breaking - but ended up with better model, so all is well that ends well :))
