I placed an order for printable DVD's and double DVD cases on January 29th through Totalmedia, it was for work for my company that had to be complete and ready for Saturday February 2nd. The tracking showed that the delivery would be made to N.Ire on January 31st which would give me enough time to get all discs burned, printed and covers put into cases. Thursday came and NO delivery but the tracking still said that it would be delivered January 31st so I rang up and spoke to staff and they said that it was still in Birmingham hub, I bought the website information to her attention which was then changed to delivery due Feb 1st. This was an inconvenience as it would delay me with work. After I asked her to contact Birminham hub to make sure that it was definitely posted which she did, she guaranteed delivery for Feb 1st. Feb 1st came, I checked delivery status and seen that that delivery status was due Feb 1st but not out for delivery so I rang up to which they said that it still hadn't left Birmingham hub, Gutted and outraged I asked how this happened as I was guaranteed delivery for today, they rang Birmingham and I was told that the parcel would be loaded onto truck tonight. This completely left my business in jeopardy as work was due on Saturday each a double DVD in a double case. They said sorry and that it will arrive Monday 4th which was UNACCEPTABLE. I had to travel 60 miles to purchase temporary DVD's and covers. (DVD's where not printable and covers where only single) so they had to be replaced when delivery would finally arrive with the proper discs etc but this put me out of pocket an additional £169.95.
I had to work through the night without sleep trying to get all of these ready for Saturday, then put all my other work on hold while I made the replacements with the new DVD's that arrived late afternoon on Monday 4th Feb. I took sick with stress from this . On Monday Feb 4th I contacted them asking to be reimbursed to the valueof £169.95 plus the price of delivery(, I was told that I would be contacted within 48hrs and if I didnt here back from them that I should contact them, so Thursday morning I rang up, they knew nothing about it, so again had to explain everything. Finally got a call back saying that they where sorry and would offer only the cost of their delivery, everything wasn't their problem and for me to contact Totalmedia and get total media to ring DPD, when I asked why they cant contact totalmedia they said it wasn't up to them. Absolutley disgusted...... So I contacted solicitor earlier today and was told that I have a case for stress caused due to negligence and other things so I now have an appointment with solicitor next Monday to finally sort this mess out........ Totally recommend anyone to stay away from this company. Totally unprofessional
