Why are companies still using them???

Made an order with Tassimo and after a few days went onto their website to check status only to find that a delivery attempt had been made and to call the careline number. Called the number to re-arrange delivery which would be sometime in the next 48 hours. Still no delivery. Called Tassimo again and this time given a contact number for Yodel. After a frustratingly difficult time trying to get through to Yodel eventually spoke to a guy who sounded like he wasn't that interested but he would re-schedule the delivery for the next day and gave me the couriers number. Called the courier only to be given a load of excuses and then to be hung up on.
I have been in all week and as far as I'm concerned no delivery attempt was made at all, no calling card left either. The lack of any attempt at customer service by Yodel is disgraceful, the whole attitude is that they couldn't care less! Why are companies still using this joke of a delivery service?
I would note that Tassimo themselves have been as helpful as they can be, and that I could tell that their operators are fed up with Yodel as well, although they never actually said it.
