Don't believe the last surge of positve reviews. It's interesting how they've recently appeared following a multitude of scathing reviews beforehand. I'm a Facilities Manager for a local mental health charity. Chess Telecom bought out our previous supplier in Summer 2012 and we've had absolutely appalling service from them since. Despite an initial friendly visit from our new account manager, they've failed to meet any new required work or resolved service issues. We raise a call, they acknowledge receipt and then nothing happens for weeks or even months. We've complained to our account manager and senior management and despite re-assurances nothing changes. At this time, we've been trying to add a couple of extra lines for 6 months and a system fault has been ignored for the last 2 weeks, despite chasing. In addition to this, they tried to increase charges in breach of the terms of our original contract. We cannot wait until the contract expires so we can rid ourselves of Chess Telecom.
