I had visited London twice before but had never bought a London Pass. I decided I'd try it this time and I'm glad I did. Since I had it, I wanted to get the most I could out of it, so once I had decided on my main focus for a day, I looked to see what other options included in the pass were nearby. Because of that, I saw the Clink Prison museum and the National Theatre guided tour on the day I went to Southwark Cathedral and explored the south side of the Thames. That was one of my best days in London. The pass prompted me to climb to the top of St. Paul's Cathedral and to include a tour of Eton College when I visited Windsor Castle. I bought souveniers at a discount one day and hopped on and off the underground to make extra stops for food or sightseeing. Having the pass added some of the little extras to the big things I would have done even without it, and often the little extras were the most enjoyable part of the day.
