The systems and processes aren't adequate for an online business. If an item isn't in stock (as was the case with my purchase), then the system should reflect this and not give the shopper a poor experience. To take a customers payment and then to take 24 hours to inform the customer and make the refund just adds insult to injury!
Based on my experience and to save future disappointment I won't be shopping with Ella James again.

I've now shopped twice with FFX and will return for sure. Customer service is first class. Range of products is really good and in the main some of the most competitive prices around. The overriding factor is the after sales service, which gives the confidence to buy online with ffx. I can't recommend them highly enough.
