We recently went to Zen Chinese Restaurant on the Embankment which was a beautiful venue and the restaurant was clean. It was disappointing to get a 12% service charge on the whole bill - we had paid £24.00 for a £56 meal and we had one extra drink (coke) and starters which brought the bill around an extra £10. We was charged 12% on the whole meal - adding the whole amount, adding 12% and then taking £56 off which I though was really cheeky so we will not being going back. I was aware that there would be a service charge but did not think it included the amount of the agree voucher. I think the details on the voucher offer should be clearer so customers are aware.
