I ordered the Asus nexus 7 last week, which I received a couple of days later. However, the device we as broken. I contacted littlewoods to arrange a return. They gave me a technical number to call. I was slightly bemused by this as the device wasn't working and couldn't understand why I couldn't just return it. I called the technical number but was advised that it was a premium rate number. I called back littlewoods and asked that they put me through to the technical number as I didn't see why I should pay for calling them. Littlewoods informed me that I just needed a reference number, which would only take a minute and that I would need to call little woods back, give them a reference number and a return would be arranged. Reluctantly, I called the technical number. I was on the line for over 7 minutes and the 'technical number' was the manufacturer. I was under the impression that my contract was with littlewoods not Asus. I shouldn't have had to contact the manufacturer! Asus confirmed the device was broken and gave me a relevant reference number. I called little woods back, gave the reference number (after being transferred to a different department) and a pick up of the device was arranged from my home address. However, little woods failed to pick up the return and I have now had to arrange to take it to a drop off store. Very frustrating. Very bad service. I'm now buying the product elsewhere!
