I payed extra for a signature on delivery when I sent a package via Hermes. According to the tracking number, the package was delivered yet the receiver did not get it. I asked Hermes for Proof of Delivery, but amazingly, they could not provide it. They charge you a huge amount for phone calls, keep you waiting ages for webchat, then cancel it at last moment, and ignore emails. They have unscrupulous delivery people who know they can not be tracked if they take a fancy to your parcel.
