Really Poor Customer Service

I have ordered quite a few times from HQ Hair, and up until recently have been very satisfied. I use a lot of Kerastase products for my hair, mainly shampoo and conditioner. I decided to order a volume spray from the Resistance range. When it arrived - delivery took approx 7 days - I used it straight away. On drying my hair, I found it to be quite sticky, and also full of static once it was competely dry. I put it down to the new product, but decided to try it again incase it was something else. Exactly the same thing happend. I emailed HQ Hair, and explained what had happened, and asked it it was possible for a refund or exchange for something else of the same value. They emailed back to say, unfortunately as I had opened and used the product they were unable to to do either. I replied again and stated, surely I would only know the product wasnt right for my hair if indeed, I had opened and used the product !! They replied again saying just because I did not like the product did not entitle me to a refund. I am absolutely furious with the customer service, or should I say lack of it, from this company. If any product is bought from a store in the high street, and is found to be unsuitable you have full rights to an exchange or refund. I contacted the company again to tell them to take me off their mailing list. I will never use the company again due to their atrocious response to my query.
