I ordered the tyres in the internet last Wednesday and was assured by a subsequent telephone call that they would be fitted the following morning. The next day I got a call to say that they coud not source the tyres I wanted but would upgrade me free of charge and fit them the next morning. I got a call late on Friday morning to say that the tyres had not been delivered but they would let me know when they had. At 16.30 on the Friday I got a call to say that the tyres were in stock but too late for fitting that day so someone would call Saturday morning to fit them. Saturday came and went with no telephone call and only an answering machine at Kwik Fit. I left a message but my call was not returned. On Monday I telephoned again and was told that there had been some mistake but they would definately call to fit the tyres on Tuesday which is what happened. The fitter was both prompt and very polite and the work is quite satisfactory. I do however feel that no promise should be made to fit tyres on a certain day without checking that they are available and in stock. Whilst I am happy with the price and the fitting I do feel let down by the administration and have wasted a lot of time waiting for appointments which never materialised.
