When I mistakenly placed an order for our wedding RSVP cards, I asked to cancel it straight away. They refused. When I informed them that the UK distance selling regulations say I have seven days to cancel they said that UK law does not apply to them. They claimed that the process had already begun, despite the cancellation being requested within an hour of the order and on a Sunday. Generally polite but unhelpful considering they had charged an noncompetitive £70 for black and white postcards with a 14 day lead time. The guy on the phone told me he could not cancel it but to to mail firstname.lastname@example.org
UPDATE: The email I was given for UKcustomercare@vistaprint.co.uk is unmonitored, I got an auto reply telling me they would not be responding and directing me back to their contact us page that I used in the first place.
UPDATE: After mailing them again via the contact form on their site they relented and cancelled the order, which is great news, it's shame about the initial response, that's why I'm leaving the rating as a three (some friction) ... you have to pressure them but fair play to Vistaprint ... they did the right thing in the end!
