I notice there are no complaints re REDHILL APPLIANCES (RA) at this site yet it features well up a google search.
I used RA in 2006 for a fridge and the 5* rating applied.
My experience in May-Aug 2010 was not the same.
Following non-completion of order in 30 days I elected to cancel my order.
Phone contact that included; 'It's your money we will pay it straight back to you.' '..nobody in the accounts dept at this time...' and '...the accounts dept doesn't have a direct dial phone number...' forced me to write (the old fashioned way) threatening legal recovery.
For a business to hold minimal stock in this economic climate is acceptable; the lack of contact when an order is not completed and a subsequent willful resistance to return an individual's money is fraud.
Familiar? Write, threatening legal action (small claims where you can self represent) including recovery of costs (admin, travel, alternate product sourcing, postage and time away from work) and interest on any money owed from date of cancellation to:

My account was credited within 5 days of the letters (the day I stated I would start legal proceedings) without any other contact being made.
