Goods were three days late and the space heater that I ordered was damaged. The box had been dropped and the plastic fan grill holding the motor broken. Took 2 hours, most of it on hold to arrange another. The second unit arrived, worked for two minutes and blew the ring main circuit breaker. Again, hours to get through to customer services but agreed not to have another and get a refund. That took a week to come through.
Royal Mail then sent me a 6 page form to complete which took 35 mins to complete.At no time did anyone from Machine Mart offer any sort of goodwill gesture for the hassle, lost time and cost of calls.
Machine Mart use third party couriers which clearly do not treat their goods with respect and careful handling, however, the buck stops with them and they have to address that problem but their customer services telephone response time is not acceptable.
I would not use again. There are better internet tool companies out there and Machine Mart has had its day.
