Will use again

Little hiccups when I found a similar deal cheaper and Auto Europe squirmed out of matching it due to one deal not having to pay for fuel up front.
However in the end we only used 29 Euros of fuel and did not have to pay for a full tank up front as some companies insist on.
The car at AVIS was exactly as described and no hassles.

Extra insurance taken out at their airport desk was 10 Euros a day but Avis first tried to say it was 14. Only when I stated they had told me different on the phone did they say that the 14 Euro price also included personal accident cover if I wanted it, but as you have that on your travel insurance anyway, why pay more? I was left with the feeling they were trying it on.
Even though I thought any excess would be reduced to zero they said that if I had a problem there would still be a 40 Euro charge.
Luckily there were no problems and I make sure the car was checked on return and that the form was signed to say everything was ok, but I had to ask the guy checking to do so.
