Wowcher
Beware - impossible to redeem some deals!
I have bought several wowchers over the past six months. Some deals were fine and I was able to redeem.
With other deals however, it has been impossible to get an appointment. Atelier M, a small beauty salon in Putney, is the worst culprit - they clearly sold too many wowchers for IPL treatments (£89) and are unable to cope with the demand. I have been calling them every day for weeks on end to book a treatment but they will not pick up the phone and have no voicemail or email.
I have contacted wowcher's customer service but still no luck in redeeming my wowcher or getting a refund! I feel totally ripped off, not to mention the amount of time I have wasted and the frustration that this has caused.
Wowcher must do a better job of vetting its suppliers and imposing sanctions if they are unable to honour their promises.
