I have been using a company now for the past three years. This year I have placed 2 orders with the company, 1 last week and one this week. The company East Coast Fibre glass supplies offers next dat delivery if ordered befire 1pm. First order placed at 9.52am, and at approx.12.00 pm email saying that order despatched. So expected the delivery the following day. We are a business, so someone is always here, but no delivery was made. Emailed my supplier and reported the problem. Following dat contacted supplier and informed them that nothing had arrived. An hour later they called me and said my delivery had been "missed " but would be delivered that day. Again waited for most of the day and at 4pm contacted my supplier who gave me the number of my local depot , Spalding.
Telephoned them, and was told the problem was that my delivery had got routed to Liverpool, it was not his fault, and he would not apologise. The bloke was rude and arrogant and was not trained in any form of customer relations, who obviously came into a bit of money and bought up a franchise with not one ounce of business sense or skills.
I managed after about 5 minutes to find the telephone number to the head office ( I wonder why they do not have it on their website !!!!!), and spoke to a woman there, who could "only apologise "....am I sick of hearing that as an excuse and get out clause.
As I was on the phone the delivery arrived at 5.15pm , and guess what the delivery driver was just as rude and arrogant.
However as my supplier was not at fault, yesterday I ordered more supplies, and guess what we are now at 5.45pm and no delivery.....
Tomorrow I will cancel my order....no wonder so many businesses are in insolvency...lets just hope XDP are the next before they take down many others.
