I was shocked and dismayed by the way this company treats its customers. I ordered the shed at the start of December and the money was taken straight away. a 14 day delivery period was stated on the site. At the end of the 14 days, I called Waltons and was told they didn't know at what stage in production the shed was, and they would check and call back. No call back. They shut over xmas - they didn't tell me this, I found out later when one of the lines had an answer phone. Called in the New Year, same story - "Don't know, will call you back." No call back. Eventually I was given a delivery date - 3 weeks over due. I took the day off work to receive it. I called Waltons at lunch to check everything was on course, and they told me the shed had been delivered. When I checked outside, it had been dumped unceremoniously in a communal alleyway by the house - no knock at the door, just dumped. Then I saw why. It was soaked through - the wood, the chipboard floor and roofing - all of it. The chipboard had even had a corner knocked off it. The struts were split by the nails and exposed nails were showing. When I called to complain, they were going to look into it and get back to me. No call back. I called again. They offered me £30 to keep the shed if they replaced the damaged parts. There wasn't much of it worth keeping. They eventually agreed to replace the shed and offered £15 compensation. Frankly derisory and dismissive - like the service (or lack thereof) received all the way through. Also, the free water-based treatment they offer with their sheds does not comply with the terms of their warranty. I wish I'd never happened across their website. I truly hope that for your sake you choose an alternative supplier.
