Truly the worst delivery / collection company

A collection (to return an item) was arranged with this company last Weds (6th) After getting to 4pm with no sign of the driver, I emailed XDP who gave me a number of a local depot who then notified me that these collections can take up to 3 days!!!
On the following Monday, I phoned the same depot who then informed me that they cannot deliver during the day but that the driver will be arriving that evening up to 6-30pm...7pm comes, no sign of driver.
It's now Thursday (14th) and I have now been told by the company who I am returning this bulky item to that XDP have called at my home and been told there is nothing to collect! This is not true, I have not had any contact with an XDP driver and in all the apparent attempts to collect, not one card or notification has been left. Truly dreadful service which reflects badly on any business using them.
