As with every review I've now read I can only confirm that these people are not to be trusted.
They claimed my immaculate handset showed signs of excessive wear and tear and knocked my offer right down. On balance most people would probably take it as they won't want to pay the approx £9 release fee. When I finally made contact by phone I was told they'd look into it and call me that evening. They didn't but finally did three days later when they readjusted their offer to what it should have been originally. I accepted and requested a cheque (wasn't going to trust them with my bank account details! ) Waited for two weeks and nothing. Followed this up and when someone finally answered they sounded like they'd just woken up. They reissued the cheque which arrived 3 days later. I'm dubious that the first cheque ever existed.
My view is that they try luck and only progress when challenged. I've only just posted this too as I wasn't confident the cheque would clear but it has.
My advice is to avoid. They offer more money to get your business then try to take your goods without paying. My opinion but you don't need to read many reviews to see I might be right
Update. In response to the reply:
Customer Service NEVER said they were busy. Busy would be taking more than 24 hours to receive and assess my phone. Busy would be not replying to this post almost instantly. The only thing you do quickly is take the phone and say it's not in a good enough condition. Actually dealing with customers, answering the phone and paying them takes the time because YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IT. I've contacted Watchdog and am pursuing other avenues to have this company investigated.
