Easy to book but not at all happy to find I could not pay by debit card

I was pleased to find a good deal for flight and car hire for a short trip to Ireland but not happy to find that I had to pay £14 fee for the privilege of paying. Apparently the 'partner'(presumably the airline) does not accept visa debit. I deliberately paid a bit extra not to fly with Ryanair - I have not personally had bad experiences with them but feel that it is only a matter of time! Otherwise it was fine.

Dear Mrs O'Brien- unfortunately as the airline does not accept Visa Debit as a form of payment this was not offered as a payment option.

The charge is levied by the carrier when they process the payment for the fare and not by ebookers who do accept Visa Debit.
