It is always nervewracking making a costly purchase online, especially when you are a newcomer to guitar playing. In the end I suppose it comes down to intuition (and a bit of luck!) The Dawson website was easy to use and they seemed to know their subject as a specialist musical instrument supplier, and they had good reviews.

My intuition was rewarded with an easy transaction, with prompt delivery and at a very competitive price. There was a minor issue (not even worthy of mention) but suffice to say, Dawsons handled it politely and quickly so others can take comfort in their after sales service also. I will definitely be going back to them when I progress and wish to upgrade.
