Excellent rates but pity about fuel policy!

I have used Auto Europe before and have always found them to provide excellent rates and service -- no different this time! However, what has changed is the fuel policy for rentals in excess of 6 days. ie. you pay at outset for a full tank which should be returned as empty as possible and not topped up again which would be normal. For a car with a large tank you can end up paying for fuel you don't use, particularly if using the car for short journeys only and I strongly object to having the fuel policy dictated to me in this way. It would be much better for Auto Europe to revert to the previous policy of not charging for fuel at outset but asking clients to return the car with a full tank, then you only pay for what you use!
