Uni Baggage

Frustrating, unhelpful partners (UPS) have let me down badly leaving me stranded in a foreign country without my belongings.

I was not aware I had the ability to add more address data when I first set up my shipment - the address prepopulated when I added a post code so I assumed that as the number, street and post code was there everything as fine - bot no it wasn't fine at all.
First issue was I could not print my labels off until the day my package was being uplifted - to the point I printed my own lables as it didn't look like I could print of your version.
Second issue - it was not clear that I would not be allowed to pack perfume and wasn't advised of this until I received your email at12.10AM on the morning of the uplift. Meaning I had to reopen my well sealed box to remove this.
Third issue - I was advised my package would be delivered on 17/1/13. But when I checked the tracking it was only then I found that there was an issue with the address details. NO-ONE ADVISED ME OF THIS. My mother then called UPS and provided every bit of address details we held and she was guaranteed delivery would be made on 18/1/13 (the day I was arriving). On 18/1/13 I again checked my tracking to find yet again that UPS could apparently not find the address ! This is utterly unaccepatable for a global company - I mean if Domino's Pizza can find me with the same address details, surely UPS could !
It is now 20/1/13 and I still have not received my delivery - UPS say it will be deleivered tomorrow but I had to ask them to leave my delivery at reception as they seem uttely incapable of delivering to where I am actually staying.

I now have no faith that they will do as they say and deliver tomorrow - meantime this has left me very upset and totally frustrated and sleeping on a bare mattress as UPS has all my bedding.

Eventually got my package on the FOURTH attempt, will DEFINITELY NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN.

Dear Samantha, thank you for taking the time to review us. I am sorry to hear of the difficulties you faced when using us. It is very important to make sure the address is 100% complete, and I understand that the post code can populate the first line of the address, however within Europe you do need to enter the other details such as house number, flat number, etc. We provide full online tracking and this is to allow you to track the item and see any problems with the delivery. If the address was fully complete and the booking was placed correctly you would not have been faced with these difficulties. I understand the frustration caused and would like to apologise on behalf of UPS for any delays.
