Delivery Request to Leave with Neighbour Not Completed Resulting in Delay
Normally orders are delivered promptly. Knowing that I wouldn't be at the delivery address I opted for delivering to my neighbour and received an email from Ironmongery Direct confirming this would be done. Unfortunately the DPD courier didn't leave it with my neighbour or the nearest post office, instead he took it to the main post office which lead to a delay in getting the items meaning additional travel and changing appointments to fit the items for the customers.

As discussed we currently do not use DPD as a courier so there must have been some confusion with an order from another company. We are able to delivery to a different address but this needs to be stated at point of ordering.
In the case of your delivery with us it was sent using Parcelforce who will delivery to a local post office if you're not in. The parcel can then be collected when convenient for yourself.
