Didn't meet the hype

It is a handy hoover but not quite as effective as the TV advert portrays. It is difficult keeping the the button depressed whilst trying to clean the stairs and the suction didn't quite pick up all the bits. Also disappointed about the disposal container. If it is just grit the emptying is easy but when there is fluff it sticks to the sides and the inner container. Frustrated about the non delivery of the free extension tube to date. I have made contact twice. The fist date given didn't materialise. The excuse was that we didn't realise that there was a delay! Not very professional. When I contacted them at the beginning of last week I was assured that dispatching was taking place throughout the week and I could expect delivery by the end of this week. I await.

A Company that does not live up to its hype

At the onset I was told how caring the management were which hasn’t been born out; one instance being the non-response to my letter to the Chairman, of 3 weeks ago, relating my various concerns. It has been a rollercoaster ride. A jig that I had been assured had been ordered no one seemed to know anything about it. Sourcing means providing information but not ordering if items not held by Bettaliving.

I had to return twice to the local store to re-sign incorrect paperwork. The agreement of a pre Christmas installation took the intervention of the Designer to bring this about. On at least three separate occasions over a period of time I was asked if I wanted the units installed before Christmas. I never felt anyone was listening or indeed cared (other than the Designer) Communication throughout left a lot to be desired. I was without facilities for far longer than needed due to a lack of installation date.

I didn’t know from day to day at what time the fitters would arrive and the 2 to 4 days for installation extended to 5 and a return in the New Year before completion. Not too keen on the finish of one wall cabinet plus the finish of the corners.

One of my main concerns was on a health and safety issue Due to inclement weather the fitters carried out the sawing of the units and tops indoors without sealing doors. Albeit my lounge door was closed I was coughing because of the dust which settled throughout the house thus taking me a considerable time to clean up.

Subsequently arrangements were made for an item to be collected. I eventually waited around for over 4 days before collection was successful; apparently I had been forgotten on the previous times! I am still awaiting the serial numbers for the double oven which is required for the warranty which I have already hastened on a number of occasions.

Certainly not value for money and not an experience I would wish to repeat.
