Worldofpower

Good price, great service, friendly and helpful staff but postage conditions apply.

I opted for Worldofpower to buy a McCulloch 380 chainsaw after comparing online.
The price was very competitive and free postage was advertised.
Whilst completing my order and going to checkout I noticed a postage change was being applied so I gave them a call to find out why.
The lady I spoke to asked my postcode and when told it was an Aberdeen code she explained that that was why there was a charge and that it was down to their courier and not to WOP. I hummed and heyed a bit because I had seen nothing about conditions applying to postcodes. The lady was appologetic about it and asked if I had used the discount code. I had not, having not noticed it so she kindly expained how to apply it and recieve a 4% discount. Quick calculation showed this discount, (which I would have missed), amounted to almost the same as the postage so, thus appeased I completed the order. The saw arrived within a few working days and I am delighted with it. Free goggles and 2 stroke oil too! Happy day!
I liked the friendly and helpful manner of the lady I spoke with and the service of WOP.
I'd be happy to buy again from WOP but feel the conditions on postage might be a bit clearer. ( mind you, I overlooked the discount code so maybe I missed something about that too.) Good company to deal with.
