The last thing you need after a friend passing away, a close family relative becoming seriously ill and going through a break up who you book a romantic break to Venice for for their birthday :( to find the holiday company you booked the holiday with made it impossible to do a name change... they had 8 days notice before i went away to change the name over they said they will call me within 24hours to tell me how much the fee is to do it, i never got a phone call... every day i called them all they said was we will contact u within the next few days that's if we can do it or not... i never heard from them at all, all i wanted was a name changed on the hotel from my ex's to my mothers that's it... its 12 days since i first called them and still i haven't heard anything... you pay all that money for a holiday and get insurance through them... and still you have the worry that you cant go... lucky i had the hotel email address and arranged it myself which the travel company still has no clue that i did it...
