I love the idea of this insurance, and it ought to be perfect to protect my new MacBook Air. But the requirement that the receipt has the serial number on it is not one that was met by the retailer I bought it from, and I'm having some difficulty in getting a response (by email) from Protect My Bubble about whether I'm actually covered. If it turns out that I am, then brilliant, but it's a little frustrating not getting a response back from them and having to re-mail my request a couple of times.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you haven't gained the information you needed. We do require the serial number of the item in the event of a claim (this should usually be on the receipt). The retailer may be able to provide this separately to the receipt in which case you will be covered.
