Great toilet, shame about the sink

I have had a Plaza basin and toilet fitted, when the basin was plumbed in I discovered that it isn't possible to fill the sink to the level of the overflow without water coming over the front of the sink! Poor design, now need to find an alternative basin which isn't going to flood my bathroom!
